We have monk’s cloth, rug patterns and dyed 100% wool Fat Quarters in various colors. We also have hooking frames and floor stands for hooking projects. We are not selling online just yet. Please email or call us for order.
Karakul Rug Roving – Ideal for Braided Roving Rugs!
We shear our Karakuls in October and April. Then we wash or dye the fleeces before we ship them to a fiber mill. We have a wide variety of dyed and natural color one pound balls for rug roving. We can send a sample of roving colors in the mail.

Market Lamb
We do sell whole lamb, half lamb and custom cuts. All of our lamb is USDA inspected. The Karakul lamb is mild and delicious. Please email us if you are interested in reserving a lamb. We do not ship out of state. We are local to northern Virginia, Washington D.C., western West Virginia and southern Maryland.
Returns Policy
Checkmate Farm LLC offers no cash refunds. We do offer store credit or equal exchanges within 7 days of purchase. You should expect to receive a return if it was a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). If you need to return an item, simply contact us.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
